BRO'CAGE, n. [See Broke, Broker.]

1. The premium or commission of a broker; the gain or profit derived from transacting business for other men, as brokers, either in a good or bad sense.

2. The hire given for any unlawful office.

3. The trade of a broker; a dealing in old things.

4. The business of a broker; the transactions of commercial business, as buying and selling, for other men. [See Broke, Broker.]

5. The act of pimping.
